Weather View 32 contains many features of interest to users who have a connection to the internet available. Select the links below for detailed information on various features. Maximum flexibility while maintaining ease of use where possible is the rule. Version 6.0 contains much improved diagnostic tools for debugging problems with FTP uploads/retrievals and has even greater reliability/error trapping.

 Exciting new 6.0 feature! Active Weather allows visitors to your web site to see the weather in near real-time with moving dials and indicators updated every second. A animated gif icon is provided to indicate that your site is Active Weather enabled. Visitors will need to download the free Active Weather Viewer from Weather View 32 home page to utilize. Also allows the display of a 100 x 250 pixel image within the users Active viewer that has been provided by site operator (great for giving info about your station or displaying an advertisement).

HTTP Text Retrieval 		Professional Version Feature. Allows the automatic retrieval of up to 20 text files via HTTP. These files can then be displayed on any WV32 screen layout. Very useful if current forecast/warnings or any other data that changes is of use to the user needs to be automatically collected. Ability to remove undesired lines from top and bottom of text file.
htmlparsing.gif (1984 bytes) Professional Version Feature. Details WV32's capability to apply a search and replace routine to up to 100 user provided web pages. Special "tags" (just a predefined code word WV32 recognizes) are entered in the page wherever a weather related parameter is required. For instance "wvcur01wv" would translate to the current outside temperature.
textsummary.gif (1981 bytes) WV32 has the capability to upload a summary of the past 24 hours weather in text format.

uploadtiming.gif (1984 bytes)		 Displays the property screen used to set the times that individual upload events will occur. Some capabilities are Professional Version Only. Simplified for version 6.0
httpimages.gif (1966 bytes) Professional Version feature. Allows HTTP URL's to be entered and polled automatically by WV32. The retrieved images can be displayed on any Real-Time Monitoring Screen. Animation capability is provided as well.

metarsites.gif (1984 bytes)		 Professional Version Feature. Up to 150 METAR sites may defined and polled be WV32 for the latest weather conditions across the US or the world. This data can be displayed on the real-time screen as text, icons, and graphics. A history of the data collected during the past 24 hours is maintained for each site, the past 24 hours history for a particular weather parameter can be displayed within a Trend Graph assigned to a Particular METAR site. Version 6.0 now uses HTTP for retrieval of data and offers capability to use a backup URL if Primary URL is down.

emailnotification.gif (1991 bytes)		 Professional Version Feature. The ability to send emails detailing the current conditions on an hourly basis is provided. Additional 6.0 functionality includes ability to send this using blind CC to hundreds of recipients.
